By the year 2060 more than 25% of the American population will be over the age of 65. The vast projected increase of older Americans creates a question, how will we be caring for this large quantity of geriatric patients? Handling geriatric patients is in fact not much different from handling adult patients, but there are some common concerns for geriatric patients.
